It has a "geek sheik retro" thing happening. I bought it as an extra watch for wearing to the gym only. But have found myself wearing it nearly all the time. Don't let the low price make you think this is a flimsy watch; it's not. This is a quality watch. I personally like the loud 80's-like "beep" it gives when you press the buttons. It gives a similiar loud "beep-beep" on-the-hour if you set it to do that. WatchZone was the seller, through Amazon.com, and for whatever reason they FedEx 2-day'd the watch to me for no extra charge. Your mileage may vary, but I was impressed. Nice Watch For the Money. Only had this watch for a short time but have owned a similar casio watch before and was looking for something to replace it. I like it because it is thin and not bulky like so many watches are. Looks and feels good. One draw back is that local wal-mart will not replace battery on casio watches because of the rubber seal. No big deal. You can have a jewelry store replace it, send it in to casio for replacement or just toss it and buy a new one for the money. Battery on my old one lasted for several years. If you are looking for a nice affordable digital watch this may be the one for you. This review is from: Casio Women's STR300-7 Runner Eco Friendly Digital Watch (Watch) I purchased this watch in the hopes it would suit my needs for marathon pace training. Unfortunately the "pace" feature does not support what I need it to do. However, the seller was fantastic, and was very helpful and understanding regarding a shipping snafu. The watch styling is sporty but still comfortable and girlie. Additionally, I liked that it is water resistant to 50m, so I can swim with it. The screen is big enough to see, unlike my Timex sports watch. The owner's manual explains step by step how to program it and I had zero problems figuring it out. Overall a good, cute watch, but not exactly what I needed for my upcoming 1/2 marathon. I'm not allowed to use my cellphone at work, which was my usual "goto" device for "keeping time". Now, anytime I want to check to see what time it is or someone asks me what time it is, I just glance down at my watch. A long time. I bought it at Targ*t. I had it in college, nursing school, wore it when I started my first job on night shift and it is still going strong. It is a super watch. It is a great watch for nursing. The light works well in dark rooms, the alarm is easy to set, the watch is waterproof for all those hand washings! I also always wore it in the pool- no problems. I think I've had to change the battery and band only once. Sturdy, good quality.
